Enjoy the history of ancient India with a visit to the capital Delhi, the Pink City of Jaipur and marvelous Agra. Continue to enjoy the nature and the frosty landscapes of Shimla and Kufri, resulting in a combination to enjoy city-life and history with snowy sceneries.
Day 1 Arrival in Delhi
Arrive in Delhi and meet with a representative. Get transferred to the hotel to enjoy an overnight stay and to get comfortable before tomorrow's excitement.
Day 2 Full-day experience of Delhi
Laxmi Narayan Temple
This first day in Delhi starts with a refreshing breakfast at the hotel followed by a full-day city tour of Old and New Delhi. This tour includes a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Qutub Minar, one of India’s tallest minarets and located on an ancient ground. It has five distinct storeys which have been built by different rulers over different times. The foundation for the tower was built by the first Muslim ruler of Delhi, Qutab-ud-din Aibak, in 1200 AD.
Next a visit awaits to the India Gate Memorial; located at the end of the famous Rajpath boulevard, it is a 42 meters high arch dedicated to the soldier’s lives lost in the First World War. Nearby, make a drive by the beautiful President’s House.
Continue to Humayun’s Tomb, one of the first Mughal architectures of significance. Built by Humayun’s wife Bega Begam, it is a beautiful garden with a walled enclosure containing the tomb of Humayun as well as other Mughal emperor’s graves.
A visit to the Red Fort will follow next, constructed by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1648, this fort is a reminder of the magnificent power that the Mughal emperors ruled with.
One more visit will be made to another construction by Shah Jahan, the Jama Masjid mosque where construction started in 1644 and is today the largest mosque in India.
The last stops of today’s tour will be to the Raj Ghat memorial, the place of honor for Mahathma Gandhi, and the Laxminarayan Temple, also known as Birla Mandir. This temple was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi on the condition that all people would be allowed to visit this temple, no matter which caste they belonged to.
After this eventful day, head back to the hotel to enjoy a well-needed rest.
Day 3 Jaipur awaits
Chokhi Dhani Village
Start off the day with a filling morning breakfast and prepare for a drive to the next destination of this tour, Jaipur. On arrival, check in to the hotel and unwind. In the evening, visit the beautiful Chokhi Dhani Village to enjoy the experience of Rajasthani culture with art, music, dance and a traditional Rajasthani dinner. With this, the Chokhi Dhani Village will take you back in time.
Later, drive back to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 4 Jaipur's top attractions
Begin this day with a warm morning breakfast at the hotel and then prepare for today’s exciting visit to some of the top attractions of Jaipur.
The first visit will be to the stunning Amber Fort, located on a hilltop, it was constructed by Raja Man Singh I in the late 16th century and built over many decades. Enjoy an elephant ride to the top of the fort and study the tough surface of the fort, while arriving inside will show beautiful sculptures, art pieces and carvings.
Next on, a visit to the magnificent City Palace, a blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture. Built in the 19th century, today some of the former royal families still live in one part of the palace. It also contains a museum with historical pieces such as weaponry, art and silver, some object so perfectly preserved and dating back to as long as the 15th century.
To finish up the Jaipur tour, visit the stunning Hawa Mahal structure, known as the “Palace of Winds”, and the Jantar Mantar Observatory, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Head back to the hotel and enjoy a good night’s sleep.
Day 5 Journey to Agra - Fatehpur Sikri visit

Enjoy this beautiful morning with a flavorful breakfast and then continue the journey of this tour to Agra. On the way, visit the famous Fatehpur Sikri, sometimes referred to as a ghost city. Built in the 16th century, it was intended to be a joint capital with Agra, however because of a lacking water system it was deserted and today remains untouched an uninhabited.
Nearby, also get the chance to witness the stunning Buland Darwaza gateway, built in 1601 by the Mughal emperor Akbar. Made out of red and buff sandstone, it is today the highest gateway in the world and a perfect example of beautiful Mughal architecture.
Next, arrival in Agra and get checked in to a hotel. In the evening, visit the impressive Agra Fort, also constructed by the third Mughal emperor Akbar. This fort was rebuilt many times to be stronger, partially by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Inside are many beautiful art pieces and carvings.

Day 6 Mesmerizing Taj Mahal

This early morning will begin with the long awaited visit to Taj Mahal. Described as one of the finest Mughal structures, it is also a love story told by thousand’s each day. The story about Shah Jahan’s lost love, Mumtaz Mahal, is truly felt during a visit at this stunning monument.
Shah Jahan began the construction of the Taj Mahal mausoleum in 1631 and it was completed in 1648. Nearby structures such as gardens and outlying buildings were completed in 1653.
Enjoy the sunrise during this experience as a memory is created for life.
Next, head back to the hotel for a warm breakfast and then prepare for a relaxing drive to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, check in to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening freely. Get a good night’s sleep to prepare for tomorrow’s adventure.
Day 7 Shimla awaits
Wake up to a refreshing breakfast at the hotel and then drive to the next destination of this tour, Shimla. Taking about 8 hours, get checked in to a hotel on arrival and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 8 Shimla temples
Enjoy this lovely morning with a peaceful breakfast at the hotel and proceed to enjoy a tour of the temples of Shimla. Begin with a visit to the Jakhu Temple, said to have been constructed by the sage Jakhu in honor of the Hindu God Hanuman. Here a stunning view of Shimla can be enjoyed. Also visit the Hanuman Temple (“Sankat Mochan”) and Kalbadevi Temple. In the evening, enjoy the time at own leisure to explore the scenery, the famous Mall Road or shopping at bazaar’s. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9 Kufri day-trip
After a refreshing night of sleep, enjoying a tasty breakfast at the hotel and prepare for a day-trip to the town of Kufri. On the way, enjoy the views from the height of Fagu village with dales, snow peaks and fruit gardens below. Also visit the Indira Gandhi Holiday Home and continue on to enjoy the sights of nature and landscapes. Later get back to the hotel and enjoy an energizing sleep for tomorrow’s departure.
Day 10 Departure day
This last day of the tour begins with a filling breakfast at the hotel followed by a drive back to Delhi, taking about 8 hours. On arrival, get transferred to the airport to continue on to an onward destination.
