The History and Nature Combo Tour will take you to two of the best cities in India, Mumbai and Goa. The tour combines the best of two worlds: history and nature. Day 1 History and Nature awaits - Arrival in Mumbai
Start this magical tour by arriving in the bustling city of Mumbai by flight. Meet with a representative at the airport and get transferred to a hotel to check in.
Unwind at the hotel and enjoy this day freely to relax and gain the energy for this tour. In the evening, explore the nearby areas with leisurely walks. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 History - exploring the Elephanta Caves
– Begin this lovely morning with a filling breakfast and then prepare to head off for a tour of the famous Elephanta Caves. These caves, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Located on the Elephanta Island in the Mumbai Harbour, these two group of caves consists of five Hindu caves and two Buddhist caves. These caves portray beautiful sculptures and carvings and they believe to date back to the fifth to eight century.
After the visit at the caves, continue on to visit and explore Mumbai City with a city tour involving a visit to the Prince of Wales Museum which is the main museum in Mumbai and contains many collections for objects of art, archaeology and natural history.
Continue on to enjoy the nature and coast of Mumbai by visiting the Hanging Gardens and popular Juhu Beach. Finish off with a visit to the famous Gateway of India and Marine Drive. The Gateway of India is a popular tourist attraction and a must-see during a stay in Mumbai. Described as a Indo-Saracenic styled building, it used to be the first building someone would see when arriving to the harbor.
Later enjoy an overnight stay back at the hotel and get a good night’s sleep.
Day 3 Nature awaits - Transfer to Goa
This beautiful morning begins with a tasty breakfast at the hotel followed by preparing to transfer to the Mumbai railway station. Board the train for Goa and on arrival in Goa check in to a hotel.
Enjoy this day freely by exploring the nearby sights such as some markets or shops to find souvenirs to take back home, or enjoy leisurely walks in the area with the beautiful surroundings. Later, enjoy a good night’s sleep back at the hotel. Tomorrow’s adventure awaits.
Day 4 History and Nature of Goa
Start off the morning with an energizing breakfast at the hotel followed by an adventurous tour of Goa. This day is filled with visits to many of the main attractions of Goa and begins with a visit to the Ancestral Goa Museum. Enjoy the antique artefacts of Goa here and continue on to visit two forts of Goa: Chapora Fort and Aguada Fort.
The historical Chapora Fort was earlier used as the site of another fort and after the Portuguese acquired the area they used this fort as a base for a long time. The fort’s structure today was built in 1717.
The fort of Aguada is a stunning 17th century fort with a lighthouse, built by the Portuguese, and is considered a well-preserved fort. Enjoy this ancient piece of structure and be impressed by its magnificent and powerful size.
Continue on to enjoy the nature of Anjuna Beach followed by a visit at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Basilica of Bom Jesus. Completed in 1605, it is one of the oldest churches in India and holds the remains of St. Francis Xavier, an important missionary and co-found of the Society of Jesus. Also visit the Church of St. Francis of Assisi, a church built in 1661 by the Portuguese and the Church of our Lady of the Rosary.
Later in the evening, visit the ancient town of Panjim to explore the bazaars and markets for spices, cashews or fruits. Enjoy walks in the area and later head back to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 5 Nature of Goa - Leisure and evening cruise

Enjoy this lovely morning with a filling breakfast and enjoy this day at own leisure by exploring the sights. In the evening, prepare for an exciting cruise trip which follows the Mandovi River through the former capital of Old Goa, Panjim. On board, unwind and enjoy the performance of Goan folk dance, rock shows and the roll events. After the cruise, head back to the hotel to enjoy the overnight on this cruise.
Day 6 Departure day
This last day of the tour begins with a tasty breakfast and then transfer to the airport of Goa to connect for a Mumbai flight. Continue on to an onward flight. Make sure to bring the memories created during this journey to share with all family or friends.
