With the combination of the Golden Triangle, you will also get the chance to experience historical monuments such as the famous Taj Mahal in Agra, the largest mosque in India and the Amber Fort in Jaipur.
Day 1 Arrival in Delhi
Begin the Nature Experience Tour by arriving in Delhi and transfer to hotel to check in. Enjoy an overnight stay and be prepared for tomorrow’s journey to begin.
Day 2 First stop Srinagar
Wake up refreshed and enjoy a warm morning breakfast at the hotel. Next, transfer to the Delhi airport to connect for a flight to Srinagar. Srinagar is the pride of Kashmir Valley and famous for its beautiful lakes filled with the traditional wooden boats, known as “Shikaras”. After arriving in Srinagar, transfer to a hotel or houseboat to check in. In the evening, enjoy a Shikara boat-ride in the famous Dal Lake. Later, get a good night’s sleep at the hotel or houseboat.
Day 3 Gulmarg trip and gardens
Start this wonderful morning with a tasty breakfast at the hotel or houseboat and later enjoy a relaxing car ride to Gulmarg. Known as the “Meadow of Flowers”, this little town is located at a height of 2730 meters. Experience Gulmarg freely, such as taking peaceful walks in the meadows of flowers and enjoying the snow-capped mountain backdrop. For the adventurous one, try a pony or gondola (rope way) ride to Khillanmarg at own expense.
Later, drive back to Srinagar and on the way get the chance to experience some of the most beautiful gardens of the country. Starting with Nishat Garden, also known as “Garden of Pleasure”, it was built in 1633 by Mughal Emperor Asif Khan and is the second biggest Mughal garden in the Kashmir Valley.
Also visit the Shalimar Garden, which is known as the “Garden of Love” and was built as a dream project by Mughal Emperor Jahangir in 1619 for his beloved wife Noor Jehan.
Lastly, visit the Shankaracharya Temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and dates back to 200 BC. From the temple’s location enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Srinagar city. After this visit, transfer back to the hotel or houseboat to enjoy a good night’s rest.
Day 4 Sonnmarg excursion
Get energized with a morning breakfast and then enjoy a full-day excursion to Sonmarg. At a height of 2690 meters, this little hill station is rightfully known as “The Meadow of Gold”. It is also known as “Gateway of Ladakh”. Enjoy this day freely with the beautiful sights in the area while finding an inner calm and peace to clear the mind.
In the evening, drive back to Srinagar and enjoy an overnight stay. Tomorrow’s journey awaits.
Day 5 Jaipur awaits
Wake up to enjoy a warm morning breakfast and then transfer to the Srinagar airport and to catch a flight to Delhi. Meet our representative on arrival and then drive straight to the next destination of the tour, Jaipur. Taking about 5-6 hours, enjoy this relaxing car ride and revive the energy which will be needed for the upcoming day. After arriving in Jaipur, check in to a hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 6 Jaipur sites
Begin this wonderful day with a warm breakfast at the hotel. Then prepare for today’s adventurous tour of all major Jaipur sites, starting with Amber Fort. The area around Amber Fort, Amber or Amer, is known as the ancient capital of the Rajasthan state. In ancient times, this complex would offer everything one would need when visiting or living by the fort, such as temples and entertainment areas. Therefore today, one can enjoy this abandoned fort complex with its many halls, temples and palaces.
After finishing up with the venturesome visit at the Amber Fort, continue on to visit other sights of Jaipur such as the City Palace, Museum, the Jantar Mantar Observatory and Hawa Mahal. Also enjoy some shopping and bargaining at the bustling bazaars of Jaipur.
Later enjoy an overnight stay back at the hotel.
Day 7 Agra journey begins
This day begins with a filling hotel breakfast and next up awaits a drive to Agra, our next destination. Reaching Agra will take around 5 hours and on arrival, check in to the hotel. After lunch, visit the famous Taj Mahal mausoleum which the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan built in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Built between the years of 1632-1653, this stunning architectural structure is rightfully a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the wonders of the world.
In Agra there will also be the chance to witness another UNESCO World Heritage Site; the Agra Fort. Usually described as a walled city, this phenomenal structure was built in 1566 by the Mughal emperors.
Later, enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel to get a good night’s sleep.
Day 8 Agra to Chandigarh
Central Grid of Garden
Start this day with a hearty breakfast and after that drive to Chandigarh, taking about 8 hours. On arrival, check in to a hotel.
Chandigarh is a union territory which is the capital of the states Punjab and Haryana. This city offers many beautiful sights such as exotic surroundings and central grid of gardens which is each dedicated to different species of flora. If time allows, some sights will be visited in the evening.
Later, enjoy a good night’s sleep at the hotel.
Day 9 Next destination Manali
After a tasty hotel breakfast, enjoy a relaxing car ride to Manali, taking about 6 hours. After arrival, check in to a hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at own leisure. Get a good night’s rest for tomorrow’s exciting experiences.
Day 10 Exploration of Manali
Hadimba Devi Temple
Begin this morning with an energizing breakfast, it will be needed for today’s adventurous excursion to Rohtang Pass/Snow Point. This spot is described as the majesty of the mountains and from here, the glaciers can be seen at their best. Enjoy these marvelous sights for about two hours and then experience a joyful sledge ride down the slopes. There is also the possibility to try to climb the little snow hills.
At noon, a visit awaits at the Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Jagatsukh Nagar Art Gallert and the Tibetan Monastery. As a last exciting sight of the day, proceed to the Vashisht village which is known for its hot sulphur springs whose water is said to have curative impact. This village is located just outside of Manali, across the river Beas.
Finally, enjoy an overnight stay back at the hotel to regain all energy.
Day 11 Last stop Delhi
Begin this morning with an energizing breakfast and then drive to Delhi. After arriving in Delhi, check in to a hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at own leisure and have an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12 Delhi departure
Begin this last day of the tour with a hearty breakfast at the hotel and later prepare for a city-tour of Old and New Delhi. Starting with the India Gate, this is a war memorial built in 1921 to honor the lives of the 82.000 soldiers lost in the First World War. Next, enjoy the sights of the Parliament House which is the government’s headquarters.
Later enjoy a visit to the Lotus Temple, built in 1986, and is the only Bahai Temple in India. Also visit the Qutub Minar, at 74 meter's height, the tallest stone tower in India.
Lastly visit the Jama Masjid, which is the largest mosque in India built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Also visit the Gandhi Memorial – the memorial of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
